Prayer Shawl Ministry

This ministry at Robert McClure United Church is dedicated to knitting and crocheting prayer shawls and baby blankets for people who are in need of comfort, warmth and support.  If you know of someone in need, please contact the church office.

Prayer Shawl Ministry is held on Monday evenings in the McClure Room library from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  All women either novice or experienced in crochet and knitting are welcome.  Lessons are provided together with discussion about the value of a Prayer Shawl Ministry.
Donations of yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks or monetary gifts would be greatly appreciated from members of the congregation to help defer the costs of the shawls.
