Inclusive Language Guidelines:
This document was compiled as a result of much research and work by the Affirming Ministry Action Committee of Robert McClure United Church, Calgary, Alberta.
In producing these guidelines, we are attempting to create a living document that will encourage us to continue to expand our language to be inclusive of everyone. Therefore, this is an aspirational document to reflect values of amazing grace and radical hospitality. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors will feel they truly and completely belong, just as they are.
