We will be viewing the Calgary Affirming Network of Faith Communities and Affirming Connections 4th  Annual Citywide Pride Service on Sunday, September 4 at 10:30, in place of our usual worship service. Just as we did last year we will not be hosting our own worship service, but rather viewing the Citywide Pride Service through Facebook or YouTube (links will be provided soon). Since this service is only being broadcast online, there is no in-person service at the church on September 4.

We will be introduced to Dakshima Dilipani Haputhanthri - a former lawyer from Sri Lanka. Now, she is a registered social worker and an advocate and lives in Calgary, Alberta. She has created “Dilipani”, a supporting network to provide guidance to those who are struggling to come out and helping to bridge the gap between them and their families. And Rev. Dr. Bob Faris, newly elected and first openly gay Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Canada (PCC)!
