Christmas Eve Outdoor Worship
We are being creative and unique during these COVID times for our Christmas Eve Worship.
We have written permission from Alberta Health Services, specifically from the office of Dr. Deena Hinshaw, to have a continuous-start worship event outside which will run from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Travel the Journey to Bethlehem. Remember to dress for the weather, bring a flashlight, wear your mask, bring your manger gifts* and offering and walk the journey on the front lawn (at a distance). There will be lots of pretty lights and Silent Night.
You’ll have to book your time to come and start this journey on Christmas Eve so we are spaced out appropriately.
We also have options for those with mobility concerns or limitations to stay in their vehicles and still experience the Journey to Bethlehem. Everyone is welcomed.
Call the church office at 403-280-9500 or email at office@robertmcclurechurch.org to book your journey time and to buy your Christmas light bulbs.
* Manger Gifts will support the Food Pantry at Robert McClure United Church.
Some suggestions for your manger gifts are gloves, scarves, mittens, toques, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, lip balm, Kleenex, sanitizer, hand soap or socks.
Bring your gifts to the church on Christmas Eve and lay them in the manger. A gift to Jesus.
